Memorial Day Weekend

We had a wonderful holiday weekend!  On Sunday we took the kids to our neighborhood playground to have some fun in the morning.  While we were walking back home to get some lunch we decided it was the perfect day for a picnic!  So we packed our lunch and headed back to the park for a picnic!  Eli was pretty disappointed when his preschool picnic had gotten cancelled the week before because of storms so he was extra excited to have a picnic.  While we ate our lunch we had to listen to the Indy 500, and what an exciting race it turned out to be!  On Monday we were supposed to have a swim party but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate.  64 degrees is just a tad bit too chilly to swim, even if the pool is heated.  Despite the cool weather we were still able to have a wonderful cook out with family.  Isabel even got all dolled up for the day!  She let me fix her hair nicely and I painted her toenails for the first time!  She absolutely loved it!  after we were done she ran over to Mike to show him.  "Daddy, toes, beautiful!!!!" I had to paint mine to match hers!  It was a fun mommy daughter moment!

Eli's Last Day Of Preschool

How is it possible that Eli is done with Preschool?  I am not ready to think that he is on his way to kindergarten in a few short months.  I am so proud of him!  Eli loved every minute of preschool and he has learned so much!  I have no doubt that he is 100% ready for kindergarten and will do great!  (I am going to need the entire summer and then some to get ready).  I am so happy with our choice of preschool for Eli!  It had such a family feel to it and I will miss it next year but there is no doubt that that is where we will be sending Jude when he is 5!  Eli celebrated his last day by going out to lunch to Steak and Shake with daddy and Jude!  Tomorrow they are having an end of the year school picnic as long as the weather allows.  Then that is it, his preschool experience is over.  I think I will just be in denial until I am forced out of it for school.

Water Fun!

Today was absolutely gorgeous!  It was the perfect day to get out the water table and the sprinkler for the first time of the year!  All three kids had a blast.  The neighbors came out with their sprinkler and all the kids were running back and forth between the 2 houses!  It was a great day!
Yay for water fun!!
Checking out the water table :-)
Isabel was pretty excited about her Minnie swimsuit!

Mother's Day Weekend

I had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend.  It started on Friday around 6:00pm when I got a GORGEOUS arrangement of 18 roses.  These are truly the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen.  Pink, purple, and orange.  My loves did good!  Saturday morning the boys had a t-ball game.  My mom came down to see them play.  Then in the afternoon the entire family headed over to watch my nephews Isaac and Luke play in their games.  I was so fun to see my nephews playing!  They both did so great!  After baseball we all went out for pizza!  Sunday we headed over to Mike's side of the family for a Mother's Day cookout.  I was a wonderfully busy weekend.

Eli's Mother's Day Sing

Today Eli's preschool had a Mother's Day Sing.  I am so glad that I was able to go!  He did a great job singing and doing the motions and he waved to me after each song!  He attends such a wonderful preschool and I can't believe that the year is almost over.  Then I will have to face that he is really going to kindergarten in just a few short months.  He is ready, I am not.  How is he getting so big?
All ready for his Preschool Mother's Day Sing

Spring Fun

We have had quite a bit of rain this Spring so when it isn't raining we are trying to get outside and have some fun!  The boys have baseball games each Saturday morning and occasionally on a week night and then throw in a practice on Wednesday nights sometimes too.  They are loving every second of it and so am I!  When we aren't busy with T-Ball we are going for walks, going to our neighborhood playgrounds, riding bikes, playing basketball or doing chalk on the driveway.  We are trying to spend as much time as possible outside!
